In Santa Fe the need for housing assistance is great. Generally, families at or below 50 percent of the area median incomes qualify as participants in the programs administered by the Authority. The Authority concentrates its efforts towards meeting the needs of the elderly and the working class with low (30 percent of the area median) income families.
